White Amaranth

Ingredients:
Organic white amaranth grains

Overview:
Gluten free and Organic, Amaranth has one of the highest levels of protein of any grain and contains all eight essential amino acids. It is also an important source of dietary fibre and has no cholesterol.

Cooking instructions:
Rinse with cold water. Cook 1 cup of amaranth in 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 20 to 25 minutes.
